There was a project paper that i should work on but till now i don't have any words to put in the paper...

Lightning Eclipse from the Planet of the Goats

Explanation: Thunderstorms almost spoiled this view of the spectacular June 15 total lunar eclipse. Instead, storm clouds parted for 10 minutes during the total eclipse phase and lightning bolts contributed to the dramatic sky. Captured with a 30 second exposure the scene also inspired what, in the 16 year history of Astronomy Picture of the Day, the editor considers may be the best title yet for a picture (title credit to Chris K.). Of course, the lightning reference clearly makes sense, and the shadow play of the dark lunar eclipse was widely viewed across planet Earth in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. The picture itself, however, was shot from the Greek island of Ikaria at Pezi. That area is known as 'the planet of the goats' because of the rough terrain and strange looking rocks."

Fasa Gerhana Bulan Penuh

1.25 am - Bulan mula memasuki "Penumbra"

2.23 am - Bulan mula memasuki "Umbra"

3.23 am - Bulan mula mengalami fasa gerhana penuh

4.13 am - Gerhana Maksimum

5.03 am - Bulan mula keluar dari "Umbra"

6.02 am - Bulan keluar sepenuhnya dari "Umbra"

7.01 am - Bulan keluar sepenuhnya dari "Penumbra

it is 2.24a.m. subhanallah...the eclipse start to shape...

is it penumbra????

waiting for next phase...

when just walk-out just now...

in my place it is cloudy a bit...

i can't see the phase...

so i decided to comeback out when clock hit 4 oclock and decided just to look the phase online...

it shaped...

3.07 a.m.

i look back to my lappy and see the moon it is one third covered...

3.15 a.m.

i went outside just now to take a look for a while...

subhanallah...

the moon is almost covered fully...

the eclipse can be seen...

just waitin for the full eclipse...

3.32 a.m.

i went again outside to take a look...

then i freeze for a while...

subhanallah...

it is ECLIPSE!!!

the moon is covered fully and the colour is orange look a like...

now goin for a prayer - Solat Sunat Gerhana Bulan

3.50 a.m.

still awake waiting for the moon again...

4.04 a.m.

can't access to the weblink again...

so decided to post now...

That is some of my observation done just now...

hope next time can done some other observation on nitesky or stargazing...

At dis time, 12.00 am or 0000, 3rd February 2011, is the big time for photographer to get nice and great picture for their collection.

It is because at dis time firecracker is anywhere at Kuching and other places as it is the celebration of the Chinese New Year.

Just now i passes a bridge new the toll-gate at Kuching after a meeting at UNIMAS, i saw many photographer with their precious camera and stands with umbrella at the bridge to take picture of beautiful views of Sarawak River at night with lights everywhere and plus the additional taste that is the firecracker combination of colours.

For me as the newbie of being a photographer, that is the nice views for all photohunter that doesn't care about rains.

If and only if that i had a DSLR camera, i also will take the same action because taking pictures gave me a satisfaction when a picture that we took is beautiful and nice and people also like it.

Picture can give infinity meaning to people when the picture is taken greatly.
